The best video presenting the case for survival

I'm posting this here but it could be in several other threads.

I'm wondering if one or some of you can point to what you think is the best video, just one, presenting the evidence for survival. A "lines of evidence" type of video.

I'm thinking about this because I frequent sometimes another, non-psi related forum, and someone is expressing there their obsessive fear of death. And then people jump in with ways of dealing with this, most of them atheists, existentialists, etc. If I had a video handy (on youtube), this would be an opportunity for me just to say, "Hey, if you've never looked at this stuff, just have a look here".

Not with the intention to change minds, or necessarily rid that person of his or her fear, but I think it would just be handy to have something to show people who have never heard of serious, survival after death paranormal-related phenomena, and the science about it.

Please no suggestions of multiple videos, or one just focusing on NDES, or reincarnation studies, etc. etc. Just an overall view presenting these areas of study to those who have no clue they exist and live in a binary cultural world of "atheism" vs. "religion".

This is one that comes to mind, but I haven't listened to it in a while, and I don't remember how good it is or if covers most or all of the related fields (including mediumship, for example).



In spite of my caveats at the beginning, don't be shy to share what you think is a good video.

but I'm interested in other possibilities. UVA tackles reincarnation, NDEs and other phenomena, but not mediumship for one thing.

I wish Greyson wasn't always on the point of crying when he presents - it's a potential credibility hit if I present this to people who are unaware about these fields of study and may dismiss him as psychiatrist or scientist because of this.

Do you perhaps mean to say he sometimes looks uncomfortable when presenting ? I get the feeling that he doesn't (always) like public speaking but he does it anyway which must be difficult.

EDIT: Actually, you're right. Around the 12 minute mark he does appear to be rather emotional.

Also, to answer your question, it's going to be tough to find one such video with those conditions, Ian. If people are honest about the data, it is already established that it's more likely than not that there is life after death. They don't know that, though.

In both of these videos, when he starts talking about specific cases, he gets emotional. And I find that's happened in other presentations as well. It's curious because he must know these cases and have talked about them for years or decades, but yet they still get to him when he talks about them. He must just be an extremely sensitive guy.

I'd noticed that (the "on the verge of crying" thing) too, in the past, Ian, but hadn't mentioned it to anybody, so it's interesting that you bring it up independently.

This Fox news special report features Parnia spelling out where we are now. "The evidence so far suggests that ...in the first period after death, that thing that makes us who we are does not become annihilated". I think it would be hard to argue that his opinion is worthless but I guess Malf and Linda might give it a go.

Edit: Just imagine how the sceptics would rejoice if just one word (>not) of Parnia's statement was removed. The cheers, the clanking together of glasses in celebration...the outpouring of relief and thankfulness....

For me the best video would be the short Consciousness Continues vid which contained clips of three experiencers, very nicely put together. Unfortunately it is now only available through Amazon.

My favourite individual NDE vid is still this one, by Wayne Morrison. 

How can you be sure though that he's not making it up, Stan ? Devil's advocate. No documentation (is there?) that he actually died or nearly died and no veridical content.
