sort of... but not quite... their are really two parts to your question... to expand on the first part of your question...

1. The castle was to meant to provide an example of a shared pattern that exists in the natural world within both the past, and the present. Showing 'adding-up' between the 'alike patterns' being aided by shared stuff in the world (sensory input).

2. The image of the two people was to meant to provide an example of a shared pattern in the world, that exists in the present. It was to show adding-up between the 'alike patterns' of two different people directly (friends, lovers, siblings). In their case, their own past shared experiences (living together), and/or similar genetics (epigenetic inheritance as an example) are some of the alike patterns they may share, which may increase the probability of adding-up.

3. A third example (not shown) is the strongest effect, that being between yourself... and yourself... and yourself... and yourself... etc., in which case your alike genetics, your alike experiences, your alike networks, your alike shared stuff in the world (sensory input)... all mean you have a far far far better chance of being... as you call it 'synced up'.

In all three cases, 1. being aided by the shared castle 'stuff', 2. the two different people sharing stuff, and 3. yourself... are all patterns in some temporal and/or spatial combination (within spacetime).... whilst the 'adding-up' part transcends spacetime.

Then there is the the second part of your question... which is really about interference...

I'll try and give some background first...

You, yourself... your patterns... your genetics (partly shared), your learning, your experience, your network patterns... make you pretty unique... but not totally unique, you share many of the same building block patterns (like individual types of lego bricks).... but they can be put together in a different pattern (like lots of the same lego blocks, can make many different constructions). Add that uniqueness, to the particular shared stuff in the world (sensory input) which you have chosen to surrounded yourself with, including the environment itself... and you, yourself, get to be a pretty unique 'alike pattern' for 'adding-up' (lego construction), composed of lots of similar alike patterns (lego blocks).

On the interference part.. that's really just interference theory, with regards to memory. All I'm doing is globalizing it, by making patterns add-up non-classically (transcending spacetime).

The traffic road sign is an example of shared stuff in the world (sensory input). But it's also not a very unique pattern in of itself. Not only are lots of third parties getting the same sensory input... but you also may experience the same sensory input regularly when driving/walking so the sign has got lots of vague associations... it's a nice example of a very crowded pattern... which probably has absolutely no meaning for you other than it's average...

But... tag one particular sign you pass with a bit of spray paint, or put a few gun shots through it, or bend the corners a bit... and it may have more meaning for you... than the average meaning of the regular unblemished indistinguishable sign.

Like yourself, your unique pattern, allowing you more individual-like access to your own pattern, your own experiences... so the same goes for other shared patterns in the world (sensory input)... the more unique they are, the more individual-like the access... and the less unique, the less individual-like access.

Shared patterns seem to just fill up with every-bodies, everyday, humdrum less strongly felt, day to day experiences associated with the pattern... and these can obscure a more strongly felt experience which is also associated with the pattern... that's another whole subject in itself.

Hopefully that makes some sense...?

Yes, it was meant to be something bigger... but life got in the way...
