Some r unable to be accessed without paying , but I found one interesting study looking at those with Locked in Syndrome , who had NDE’s. They reported more “negative” type NDE’s. What are some of your theories as to why this may be?

Very interesting, Bill. If I may respond to your question, I don't know why the LIS patients would report feeling less peaceful.
The last four comparative bars on the chart don't differ too much though, particularly the out of body experience. And during an out of body experience, we know that experiencers feel very peaceful and content. They also reported encountering mystical beings and deceased relatives where they must have felt extremely peaceful, so I would tend to think that maybe that particular question was not properly understood.
Maybe some of the locked in syndrome patients were reporting not feeling peaceful because they (quite understandably) wanted to get out of their bodies (again) and go back ?
I'm not sure how the poor souls were enabled to communicate to answer the questions, but there are methods. For me, I honestly don't see anything particularly significant.
Lastly, If they've had a profound NDE, I do wonder if they would want to be kept alive? But then again, that brings a lot of new ethical questions that can't easily be addressed.
