I think what you've posted so far has been fine. It's probably more productive to stick with your current approach than to hold off until (if) coming up with a better (or "better") one.

That's just my view though. Maybe others have different sentiments.

I do too. I also, as I've mentioned elsewhere, strongly suspect that reviving our weekly Psience News wiki articles would be a strong drawcard.

The problem is that we don't seem to have the volunteers to do either right now.

I'm glad you think so. Are there any potential kin you'd like to see us add if we go ahead?

A thread where people make suggestions of what I should post to our socials would honestly be helpful to me. I am just not cool enough to know what brings people in.   Confused Big Grin

I like the idea of the Psience News wiki articles, though I have to admit it was always on the edge of my personal awareness.

I'd be willing to work on trying to get interviews if you're up for it as well. Part of the challenge is we are a forum that is divorced from any recurring media like a podcast. This is good in the sense that anyone participating doesn't have to feel that they need to follow along with the hosts' interests, but it also keeps us from really getting on anyone's radar.

Interviews feel like the right balance between not engaging the wider world and trying to start a podcast.

We have one already in your Which threads to boost on social media?

Chime in and help Sci out in that thread, those who have suggestions.

I'm up for it in the sense of encouraging and supporting it. I don't think though that I am familiar enough with any potential subjects to conduct one myself, except that I'm still fascinated by the case of Annika and Tristan, and curious to learn more from them directly - a potential interview that I'd floated in the past, and that we had discussed.

Ah I'd forgotten that I already made a thread to ask for suggestions. Summer was admittedly a blur, busy with the remodeling I'd mentioned to you.
Will check that thread for suggestions on what to post!  Thumbs Up
