How I learned elderberries were real

So in, I think, September 2014 I get pulled into this projection with a guy. Dreamsoap’s there and she’s in a convenience store that’s near our place.

He tells me something about how he was walking by and saw us and since I’d helped him in the past he wanted to return the favour. But he was concerned that I was going to make his dream not happen because Dreamsoap and I were out of sync in time. So he wanted me to not interfere or do anything that might make it not happen for her. I told him he could just pull me outside of it to make sure, which he did.

He explained what was going on, Dreamsoaps dreams shifted to her chasing around a ghost in the store that she couldn’t see but she could feel and it was opening doors and stuff. He explained that basically the dream was “loading” and while it was doing that her mind was sort of taking the pieces of it and kind of I guess reconstructing it. Resulting in this sort of random, vague conglomeration of what the final result would be. Then the dream solidified and she was back at the front counter talking to this large apparition ghost head thing.

She had a bad cold in the dream or I gues “at the time” and the ghost told her a remedy that involved drinking chamomile and elderberry tea. My response to this in my mind was “Pffft... elderberries aren’t real. There’s no way there’s a berry with a fucking Tolkienesque name like that.

I figured since I had the chance I’d ask the guy more about time since he was so concerned about the desync. I asked him if this dream would happen on a sort of range of time. He didn’t know what I meant. So I reiterated “Well, like, would there be a span of say, ten days, where this dream might happen.” and he said

“No, it either happens or it doesn’t.”

So I come out of the projection and pretty much forget about it until about 2 and half months later when Dreamsoap is working at that store and has a really bad cold and then has that dream. So that was interesting on it’s own. But beyond that I then found out that elderberries are REAL. My mind was blown. And not only are elderberries real but through some research we found out that both they and chamomile have pretty well established immune boosting properties specifically for respiratory illnesses. So, in other words, this guy gave us a very specific remedy for what she was going through at the time and I thought it was bullshit.

This is one of my favourite veridical accounts because of how much I rejected the possibility of it at the time. The best evidence comes from things that prove your beliefs wrong in such a black and white way.

Because of that I do trust him on what he was saying about time and it’s gone into the pile of evidence in support of the multidimensional timespace model that I use. A model that makes reliable pychokinesis pretty much impossible for me at the moment not because it’s impossible but because it’s really hard to aim in time. It makes your mental states matter in such a huge way that it’s my biggest remaining roadblock to just doing what I know I can do. It’s why I have managed to reliably induce shared dreams and even some pretty powerful poltergiests yet I can’t do the same thing right in front of myself. My own mind makes it desync.

And the annoying thing is I can feel that. When I try to do things like push a door closed I can feel that what I’m doing is right but I’m just doing it in the wrong place and I can’t get it to stick to the reality in front of me, it just keeps slipping off to either side. I’m hoping that through self acceptance and more emotional work that I can attain the mental calmness necessary to make it finally work though.
