How do you opt out of forums?

If I don't want to see the Political or Conspiracy theory forums, is there an easy way to do this?

Yep. The first post of the How to join the hidden politics, conspiracy theory & controversial science subforums thread in the Forum Introduction, Rules and Other Important Stuff forum explains how to opt out as well as how to opt in.

I respect Sci and appreciate his posts, but what I see as Ostrich like behaviour from a bright thoughtful person like Sci is sad. What is he afraid of seeing that is so offensive or scary I wonder?

Sci, if you read this would you be willing to discuss it somewhere?
Oh my God, I hate all this.   Surprise

Never mind all that, Stan. Much, much more importantly, where's my "like" for that Enricco Facco interview ? [Image: wink.png]

Forgive me oh how I’ve let you down.  Huh

Wink NDEs are probably as good a thing to look at as anything currently. (If it’s an NDE?  Big Grin )

I'm just kidding, Stan, you know that. One can never tell what's going to go down well. You prefer just NDE's ? I was thinking of posting some of the one's I've collected (that is posting without permission effectively because it's hard to actually successfully contact people many times).

Forum rules wouldn't normally allow me to do that but to be honest I can't really see who would complain about it to Laird in this diabolical situation we're in.

I like anything where people talk genuinely about NDEs, they are unique imo. I tend to think they’re healing when they’re simply being read about or viewed on video.  Thumbs Up

I've just noticed you've given me a like for the interview ! That's the most likeable "like" I've ever liked ![Image: biggrin.png]

I just haven't really looked at those forums since the early days, and now I keep accidentally end[ing] up there because of the multiple coronavirus threads.

For me it was just a matter of simplifying what  I see to be in accordance with my interests. I usually just stick to the Related Topics section anyway, occasionally glancing at the "higher" forums from time to time.
