I have been having a private discussion about evaluating research, and the extent to which knowledge and experience influences this. I tend to go on and on about how I evaluate research, but it occurs to me that I should be asking others how they do so (before letting my own prejudices run amok ). To that end, I would be interested in what any of you think of this paper by Radin on intentional tea and mood, and how you go about evaluating it:

As a randomized, controlled, double-blind therapeutic trial, it should be a fairly straightforward paper to evaluate.
