I felt that pair of podcasts gave me a better idea of Wargo's ideas than the others I've listened to. I thought the interviewer's technique was better, and it probably helped to have longer for discussion.

His idea doesn’t fit our observations. You only need to consider ones own memories to know that. Or consider apparitional experiences like Harry Martindale’s Roman Soldiers, where one quickly realises that access to anomalous information does not just come from an individuals future.
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

There's a very enthusiastic review of Eric Wargo's book by Jenny Randles on the Magonia Review website:

Eric Wargo was interviewed last week by Gordon White for his Rune Soup podcast:

Another podcast interview with Wargo:

If I get the book and want to post while reading, should I do it in this thread or in a new one?
'Historically, we may regard materialism as a system of dogma set up to combat orthodox dogma...Accordingly we find that, as ancient orthodoxies disintegrate, materialism more and more gives way to scepticism.'

- Bertrand Russell
Chris can say what he prefers since he started the thread, but I've got no problem with either!
