I'm thinking part of it (by design?) is because we are hard-wired as humans (animals), with brain structures and so on (damn that amygdala, I wish I could get rid of it, but then life wouldn't be much of a challenge would it?) that promote the "egoic" mind (survival). Thoughts proliferate and go crazy trying to cope with it, which doesn't make it any better. Wouldn't you know that science has not yet come up with effective medication, without deleterious side effects, dampening the damn thing (like meditation does)? Probably the better for hard-won, "spiritual" progress. (Would humans act worse or better with no fear?)

(A mind without fear: Could this potential drug treat PTSD and anxiety?)

There's a lot to chew on there and it's centred around the human condition, of course. We all know something that is effective (for certain aspects of suffering) but it's not at all easy to do, is it...just stop thinking about it. Focusing (obviously) feeds them (thoughts), letting go shrinks them.  Apologies that it sounds rather trite, though. (just stop thinking about it..yeah right, that's easy, I don't think...)

There are so many positive ways of being, thinking, believing without this money-hungry dude pumping out more money-making comments.
I am very tired of the memes and positive chants. I do not like him. I do not appreciate this false garbage approach to life.
Most of the materials are very unrealistic and are swallowed whole by mostly disturbed people looking for an answer outside of themselves and the real issues and problems. So more fake bubbles to deal with fake bubbles. Life is what it is, crap and all.

What I want to see, is what can he do? Where are his gifts?
He has the gift of gab, talk talk talk all positive as long as it lands in his wallet.

I don't see that he has anything except fame and fortune. Good for him.
I personally find his approach to life is a high, a temporary one that needs the constant drug of reinforcement and is supported by very fake crutches of very unrealistic thought patterns that will never apply to the disturbed people that eat it up like some super drug.
A coping mechanism for some people, some of the time. Opium for the masses.
It is likely pretty easy to spit out these support crutch memes when you have $80 million dollars spent by desperate people in need of comfort. While you do absolutely nothing to correct the depressing situations that exist across the planet.
The usual taker personality. A theif that should not be listened to or supported. He has enough of everything, retire already and take your memes with you.
