I haven't listened to this yet and I don't know when it took place, but this was posted online a few weeks ago.

She mentions Ian Stevenson as one of her mentors.

The fact that so many children, a great majority, who remember past lives had violent/traumatic deaths, would be a factor potentially explaining why not every/most child(ren) remember(s) past lives.

It may also have relevance to the interval between the end of one life and start of the next. Relatively short in these cases. Whether it is safe to assume that applies to other, less traumatic deaths it seems difficult to say.
