Oh I think I understand your concern here, and yes, such things are truly one hell of a slippery slope.
Quote:However I'm not really qualified to discuss all of this as you say  you are a Muslim (an unorthodox one), that is fine and I'm happy with that. But I'm a bit of an outsider I was brought up in a Christian background and used to go to church regularly until a certain age, but nowadays I don't really belong.
I'm not sure if I got your point here, qualified to discuss what? And what does it have to do with my religion?
Quote:Anyway, while we're on the topic of NDEs may I suggest this one :
3991 Mohammad Z NDE 16083

The part where he has a life review is very interesting, it does cause me to think of my own life too.
Also thanks for sharing this, Iranian NDEs are rather rare.

Well, I don't consider myself qualified to discuss any religion, yours, mine or anyone else's. As I say, perhaps too vaguely, I'm an outsider, meaning I don't take a view on one of your concerns which was 'source' (as a euphemism for God I assume) and the existence of Jesus. I neither agree nor disagree on those things.

I don't know whether or not it has anything to do with your religion, but since you mentioned it and also polytheism I (probably mistakenly) assumed that it might. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. The opening post at the start of this thread contained a lot of details and a number of links. It was hard to tell which parts were most important.

There's a really interesting recent paper on NDE's from a university in Iran (Tehran ?) on here in the NDE section but I can't find it, unfortunately, even with a search.

Oh no worries about such things, confusion was from my part.

And just to clarify things a bit, my main concern here was Jesus and her NDE (and also her credibility), however I brought up "polytheism" to describe things in a more journey like manner (not saying that it's not a problem for me, but I more or less dealt with this possibility philosophically, however I might make a post about it later)

(Also I believe you took a correct stand regarding religion, talking about it without sufficient knowledge can make a mess)

JETRANG,

Why is it that I feel you are being somehow disingenuous? You supply a number of links, but then explain that they are "relatively normal", then you claim to be appalled by your last link, but you then explain that it has been removed!

Maybe it's this one...

Well that's unfortunate as there's very little research on this subject here inside the country, however there are some good "behind the scene" activities (mostly in Telegram) about these, we even have our very own small communities about such matters (NDEs, psi phenomena, idealism and so on)

I was trying to say that as time went on things went downhill, I was setting things up for Jesus part.

Also by "appalled by your last link" are you referring to that skeptic website or that deleted reddit post? In any case I don't get your point.
