Raymond Moody and Lisa Smartt are starting up a new website which is rather grandly called "The University of Heaven":
https://www.theuniversityofheaven.com/

It's described as "an online educational platform committed to offering quality courses and resources about near-death, shared-death and after-death experiences". There are already some "webinars", blog posts and lists of links online. Apparently the official launch date is 1 November.

This video was posted first on Ben Williams blog (where I've made some posts, not recommending them (my posts) BTW) by someone styling themselves Z. It may be a bit OTT for some but there's an interesting interview with Sam Parnia amongst others.

Here is an amazing interview with Whitley Strieber hosting Jeffrey Kripal and Elizabeth Krohn.
Elizabeth had a NDE after being struck by lightning, but more interesting to me were her psychic abilities she was left with. The best bit for me is near the end.
Strieber is very annoying with his interruptions at times, also skip past the ads, it’s worth it.

Tracie Austin (Unknown to me previously) conducted this interview with Dr Laurin Bellg in January 2018. It's a decent "chat" and at 1.37 (I think)  there's a nice exchange about the desperate behaviour of sceptics emailing her about the case of "Howard" and how he must (no kidding) have had a hand in constructing the nurse's station he described above the room where he had his out of body experience during cardiac arrest (or else how could he possibly have known about it ?)

In February 2006, David Ditchfield, a former professional guitarist and songwriter, was saying his goodbyes to a departing friend at Huntingdon station in Cambridgeshire, England. As the train moved slowly away, his sheepskin jacket accidentally became stuck in the automatic doors and he was dragged along down the side of the carriage and subsequently right down under the train's wheels where miraculously he survived what should have been certain death.

He sustained serious injuries including the severing of the lower part of his left arm. Whilst in the hospital he evidently experienced a profound NDE which inspired him to begin painting and also composing classical music which was quite unlike anything he had previously created.

This short video will lead you to a link where you can read about David's experience and also view some of his very striking work.

New Raymond Moody video, in which he summarizes several NDE reports and personal experiences that helped convince him to accept that consciousness survives the death of the body:

Quote:Dr. Raymond Moody, who coined the term "near-death experience," offers an introduction to The University of Heaven with an overview of why after 50 years of skeptical inquiry, he is convinced that consciousness survives.

Quote:After the NDE: Managing the Challenges of Spontaneous Mediumship Experiences - Jane Thompson and Janice Holden -- 2018 IANDS Conference Researchers have recently identified the near-death experience (NDE) aftereffect of spontaneous mediumship experiences (SMEs) in which the experiencer (NDEr) is visited uninvited by a deceased entity asking the NDEr to do their bidding, most often to convey a message to another living person.

This video of a Serbian woman describing her pleasant NDE, is accompanied by background (mood) music more suitable for signifying a trip to hell. I have no idea if or even why Serbians would associate discordant and dramatic sounds with a description of Paradise. Maybe it's a mistake or a quirk of culture, don't know.

it's in Portugese but it's one of the strongest accounts I've seen, both because of the emotional content and because of what transpires. He has a series of heart attacks and between the third and fourth (when he has his NDE) he is visited by a child in his bed asking for a remote control to watch TV, he goes to sleep and when he wakes up he asks the nurse about the girl and she tells him that the girl had died two days prior.
