Update: I'm now subscribed to about 10 pornography sites apparently... great.
Whoever sat up for hours spamming my email address into account creation forms really needs to find something better to do with their time.

As a senior member of the forum, I think it behoves me to appeal for some calm. I think there's been some incredible 
misunderstandings here and it's gone on from there. 

Darren is very welcome of course ! But I don't want Sci to disappear, either, he's never been anything other than perfectly polite (more so than me to be fair) Somethings wound him up but it can happen to us all, can't it.

What are you even going on about? This seems like some lame attempt to try and get me banned because I voiced a suspicion many have long had.

I'm not attempting anything. As soon as our exchange ended I started getting spam emails from pornographic sites and business marketing emails.
What am I supposed to think when it starts within half an hour of ending our conversation?!
I'm not blaming you. But be honest, if within that time YOU started getting spam emails immediately after our chat, you'd think it was me wouldn't you.

Of all the people in the world that I suspect might arrange spam emails, Sci is well off the list.  I can't, in a million years, imagine him doing such a thing.  I am aware of how frustrating it can be when people assume you can make changes that you don't know how to make or don't have the capacity to make, having been in that situation myself, but I also have a good grounding in Transactional Analysis (although not professional) and I am very aware of the game "Why don't you" "Yes, but" and that such games can go on forever until people stop playing the role of rescuer.  If Omni has genuine psychological difficulties, then he needs professional help and this forum is not the place for such help.  I am also aware of how frustrating it is when proponents continually make over emotional anti-skeptic posts, having spent time on Skeptiko before coming here.  In fact some of my earliest posts on that forum were an attempt to address such.  I haven't frequented PQ enough recently to know what is going on, but this is not a mental help forum and I think we should be focussing on discussing factual information and not other people's emotional state.

But honestly I did plan to do what strongly implied I would after you called me "subhuman", which is every time Omni makes one of his "Can we trust Bruce Greyson if the Christians like him so much?!" type threads I was gonna note it on your social media & email you to take care of it.

Figured you should deal with those type of threads after claiming I was a subhuman monster that hasn't had any hardships in my life. In your second post on the forum no less.

BTW, has any evidence of this spam been shown to a moderator yet?
