Ah... I had been hoping we could get away with changes to the default theme only - have fixed the mobile-friendly theme now though too. If anybody using any other theme would like the header brought into sync with the default theme, then please just say. Have also though added a direct link to the donations page to the opening post of this thread, so hopefully it can be found no matter what now.

Not that much this year, unfortunately - nearly all my attempts to find new interviewees failed, except Bruce Greyson - and he is still busy and can't find time to formulate his replies properly.

And my overall activity was very low, completely incomparable to the previous years.

Nothing to be proud of. However, 2018 was a hard time for me overall. I hope 2019 will be more productive.

P.S. Right now I waiting for the reply concerning my last desperate attempt to pesuade the Parapsychological Association to mention Psience Quest along with Skeptiko on their website (the former ones were never responded). Maybe here I would have a result.

Just use my forum name, not my real name in any public document - thanks!

Have done - and have been doing that in general where donors do not choose to be anonymous. Have just updated the spreadsheet with the latest four donations, including yours - have had a visitor for a few days so haven't been onto it as quickly as I'd otherwise have been. Thanks to the generosity of donors including yourself, we have defrayed all preexisting costs and now have savings of USD 155.61 towards future costs.

Ah wasn't trying to say you had to update the spreadsheet any time soon, just didn't want my real world details to be scattered across the net.

Thanks for everything you guys have done for this forum! Thumbs Up

An update: until recently, nine donors had donated an average of USD 38.62 each, which is enough in total to cover more than four years' worth of costs.

We had used these donations to totally defray the costs incurred by Ian and myself, however, Ian and I have decided that we would like to be donors too, so we have each donated (so far) roughly what it would take to cover the first two years' worth of costs given eleven donors (USD 16 each).

We've now got USD 212.61 saved up towards future costs, which should easily cover us for another two years after the first two have elapsed, so potential donors needn't feel that donating is particularly urgent at present!

I see that on another thread someone has suggested that - in some way I find absolutely incomprehensible - there has been some improper behaviour to some participants on account of the donations they have made to this site.

What has been said makes no sense at all to me, and I have no involvement in the running of this site. But I think the site serves a useful purpose and I think it should be encouraged rather than hindered. So if anyone feels for some reason that a donation they have made is causing some kind of a problem, I'll be happy to reimburse them for it out of my own pocket, without loss to the site.
