Dawkins refuted in a minute

I didn't know where best to put this but having never read "The God Delusion" I was stunned by how quickly and easily it was refuted.  Actually, Dawkins refuted himself in the process but towards the end, we see why.  Quite a revelation and quite a confession!

I think this argument to destroy Dawkins is a little simplistic.

Dawkins is apparently saying in his book that if evolution is the truth of all life including human beings then there is no God. Therefore since evolution is in fact true there is in truth no God. That is a logical but of course erroneous train of reasoning.

His problem is that his unstated premise is invalid: he is automatically defining "evolution" as the Darwinistic process of random genetic change + natural selection. If the development of all life on the Earth including the origin of human beings is from such a meaningless purposeless goalless semi-random walk process fueled by random changes then certainly materialism is true and there is no spiritual reality; all gods, souls, spirits, higher meanings and purposes to life, etc. etc. are false and delusions.

The actual truth is yes, evolution defined as genetic change with time is true - life has gone through a long process of development over billions of years of time leaving a long fossil record of these changes - but there are multiple strong scientific reasons why Darwinism is false as the "scientific" explanation or mechanism for evolution.
