A future I didn't dare to dream of.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

I have to be careful how much I say because things are not finalized yet but here goes.

Firstly, let me say that I have been looking for work only in the fields of warehouse and kitchen because that is what I am used to.  I didn't dare to believe that I could do anything professional with things that I enjoy.

On another forum that I am a member of, after being critical of a product, a member of another company who agreed with me approached me in a PM to discuss this and to ask me if I wanted to do some beta testing.  I agreed and have been testing the products for about a week now.   When I was out walking in the woods earlier today, it crossed my mind that I might be able to find work in his company.  The problem was that the only thing I can do is test and to create one aspect that he is capable of creating himself, so I didn't mention it.  It seemed too unlikely.  When I got home and logged into the forum, there was a message for me.  He asked me if I wanted to be a paid member of the team, doing exactly what I had thought of, that I am capable of.  Of course I said yes.  Now to wait and see how it unfolds.

Brian, I hope it goes well, in fact I hope it continues to exceed your expectations, in the best ways.

Great to hear, Brian. Sound like things are looking up for you. Best of success with it: as Typoz affirms, may it exceed your expectations.
