Well that wouldn't be wrong. I mean, I wouldn't feel so strongly about it if I hadn't had all those expereinces. I can't function in normal life because of it, I don't feel like myself at all without my magic. But I don't think those experiences are required to have the desire. I'm prety sure the idea of magic is enough for someone to want it. And then that desire leads to the experience, which then furthers the desire.
