Sensory Induced OBEs

I really can't understand why being able to trick the brain through messing with sensory input proves that OBEs are just something of the brain?

I haven’t read the paper, but from the article, it sounds like the researchers took some measurements from the brain/s of subjects undergoing a dislocated sensory experience. Sounds fine to me.

And, as far as I’m aware, they can still only induce these OBE-like effects using actual sensory input, which has truely been dislocated. Which is fascinating really, as these types of study continue to support the idea that OBE’s use real dislocated sensory data.
