Graham Nicholls and different aspects of sight during OOBE's

I watched the live February 2026 Graham Nicholls seminar that was a "donation to participate" event put on by the Rhine Research Center.

Graham covered the basics of books he already published.
He did answer a couple of my questions.
Yes, he has projected together with others, with some success.
Yes, he places a lot of emphasis on diet to achieve this level of control.
He did not answer my question about challenging his memory or recall while he is out. This was of special interest to me after challenging myself and finding out how little I know or remember while in an OOBE state. As an example, I know a car key is a car key during an OOBE, but I don't know if I own a car. I feel like I know who I am, but struggle to remember so many things that are easy while awake. To me, there is an obviously different system in operation that isn't accessing my memory in the same way I do while awake, or has it's own memory system and likely a personality to go with it. I also struggle at times to be in control, and get stuffed into an observation blob that is being dragged about, only capable of witnessing.

EDIT: He also answered the question about people seeing the out of body form, and that in an exercise to test this, he appeared as a shadow figure to waking people.

The more time I spend on it, the more I realize that this could be a complete bubble that operates on a level that has very little to do with my waking self, and is independent of my waking self. It is then no wonder that it can be hard to control, or experience. The more we try to drag our waking mind and consciousness into this bubble, the more it will likely fail. The bubble is the bubble, we can perceive from the bubble as a guest, and share memories and thoughts, but we are likely not dragging our ego in there and taking over. Our ego, and our mind, are likely so tied up with linear time and physical existence that they disrupt this bubble, or drive it farther away from our normal perception.

One of the subjects that jumped out, and likely has value to me, is his use of different color schemes to describe changes in his viewing and abilities during his out of body experiences. I had never really paid that much attention to color hues or tones, but I also can't jump out and control things as well as Graham. Likely because I love my bacon and steak and I am not trading that for better control at this point in time.

Also of interest was the veridical evidence of him witnessing a bombing 5 days in advance of the event, and associating that with one of the color hue systems of perception he is mapping. I will have to try to pay more attention if I have any more precognitive dreams to see if I share that. I have never witnessed the future while out, but only in dreams. So I find it interesting that he considers that precognition event an out of body experience.

He is also using his own repeat data to help create better experiments with scientists, like the reduced visual range of 10-12 inches, and adjusting targets to fit this range. I had noticed this myself. When I attempt to focus on some items, I sometimes zoom in and can get stuck in a small area of detail, or stuck on particular color(s). I have a release system for that, where not focusing on anything in particular, just letting go, can restore your regular visual range. I also don't get much in the distortion category, unless I'm dreaming/lucid dreaming and just assume it is an OOBE, which has happened.

One of the interesting spectrums is what he calls cerulean quality. An energetic blue clarity color to him, where details are evident.

The different color formats also appear to supply different aspects of information, and levels of detail. One of those formats appears to coincide with descriptions from people who claim to see auras. So perhaps there is a cross-over area there as well.

I have high hopes that the renewed research will uncover some interesting results that have value to practitioners.

Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to recall the seminar.
