Recently been viewing this teams investigations, whilst on respite from my studies!. I like how they go about their business, as it is done professionally and with seemingly no attempts to 'fake' anything to keep viewers watching.

The “orbs” are caused by a reflection, probably eye shine from animals out feeding, looking for eye shine is a standard technique used when hunting at night. And the sound of the footsteps are exactly that... audio volume has been boosted, and probably deliberately inserted as an additional audio track during post production.
