Brain recordings with help from Pink Floyd

This is not actually a new study, currently being a few years old, but I think it may have some solid relationships with understanding more about where telepathy and science can meet and shake hands.

Brain recordings capture musicality of speech — with help from Pink Floyd

Quote:The phrase “All in all it was just a brick in the wall” comes through recognizably in the reconstructed song, its rhythms intact, and the words muddy, but decipherable. This is the first time researchers have reconstructed a recognizable song from brain recordings.

EDIT:

I'm adding this because of my own particular experience with hearing what songs are 'stuck' in people's minds. Just this weekend I had a confirmation of correctly stating which song was 'playing' in someone else's mind, so a confirmed 'ear worm' form of telepathy.

I have suggested an experiment using a tracking system for which songs are currently playing on which radio stations, with the goal being to figure out if specific frequencies are providing more 'ear worms' than others. But I have had very little interest from the public, or science.
