Uri Geller's reversal

Found this video on Youtube and wondered if anybody knows anything more about the "reversal" of which Randi speaks?

The description under the video reads, "Randi gives his views about Uri Gellers reversal from claiming to be a psychic".

I suppose it refers to how Geller has presented himself at different times. He started off simply as a psychic. Nowadays he still says the same, but he adds much more of a sense of ambiguity. Some (but not all) of his later acts were almost certainly ordinary magician's techniques.

In between of course he was involved in various government projects, which may have affected his presentation.

A lot of comment on sites such as youtube simply call him a fraud or a fake.   That seems at odds with some of the evidence as recorded under scientific scrutiny.
