Well of course, there are lots of psychic concepts that rather overlap - but yes perhaps this would relate better to morphic fields.

I suppose my point about technology, is that familiarity with older technology as a user clearly helps in understanding newer technology.  To take a frivolous example, the concept that sometimes switching something off and back on may fix it, is pretty universal! It applies to anything complex enough to contain many different states, but obviously it doesn't apply to a light bulb or an electric fire.

Stevenson's many examples are obviously selected from a much larger number of cases that appear less clear cut, or where the previous personality bows out sooner than it does in the most impressive cases. Maybe almost everyone is a reincarnation of someone else - indeed has had a long chain of reincarnations, but most of them are less obvious.

In that case, many children alive now will be reincarnations of fold alive in the 1970s to 1990s. I think there were plenty of gadgets available back then that would help kids adjust to modern technology!
From Reader's Digest on line, a persuasive article on "reborn" youngsters. I'm personally convinced that reincarnation is
a fact from my own (personal) memories but these stories take it to a new evidential level (IMHO).

"Work is futile if we cannot utilize the experience we collect in one life in the next. When I discovered reincarnation it was as if I had found a universal plan…Time was no longer limited….The discovery of Reincarnation put my mind at ease."  (Henry Ford)
