"All the best science has soft edges, limits that are still obscure and extend without interruption into areas that are wholly inexplicable. On the fringe, between those things that we understand as normal occurrences and those that are completely paranormal and defy explanation, are a cluster of seminormal phenomena. Between nature and the supernatural are a host of happenings that I choose to describe as Supernature. It is with these go-betweens that this book is concerned."

Supernature is certainly an interesting read. Though personally it was Gifts of Unknown Things which inspired me more. One of the few books which I bothered to purchase in hardback - some years after reading a library copy.

Quote:Discover the extraordinary island of Nus Tarian, in Indonesia, where everyday reality contains terrifying, inexplicable, and miraculous phenomena. Magical feats, extrasensory perception, and psychic healing are commonplace in this land where the natural and the supernatural coexist and challenge our beliefs about reality.

At once a scientific exploration and an imaginative adventure, Dr. Watson's astonishing and life-transforming journey becomes our own, challenging many of our fixed beliefs about the "real world."

I haven't read that one.  I have read Supernature, Beyond Supernature and the Nature Of Things.  I always wanted to have a collection of his work as he has a really interesting way of making you see something that he sees.

Great books. Great influence on my thinking as a young man.
I do not make any clear distinction between mind and God. God is what mind becomes when it has passed beyond the scale of our comprehension.
