This seems either wrong or applicable to a variety of theories on consciousness. There was a recent use of AI to show how experimental design would point to the particular theory the researchers were advocating, which shows the bias involved in this work as well.

There is definitely too much corruption of science by the materialist faith for sure, but I don't think IIT is especially bad.
