Stan. I have you blocked because you are offensive and resort to name calling and childish insults.

I'm not going to go tit for tat through your post because you never really read what I say.

I will reiterate one more time into the ether--> I don't believe any information. I don't believe any news, any podcast, any video, any magazine article. I no longer believe that it is possible to get to the truth of even the simplest occurrences. I live my life guided by seen and unseen forces of influence. I have opinions but they too come and go like the weather.

I seem to make choices but who is really choosing. The earth is in the midst of an environmental and sociopolitical meltdown that is unprecedented. I don't think psiencequest choosing or not to ban videos has any more import than the fart of the last Rhino in Africa.

I read here and participate in threads that involve the character and conditions of the forum for sentimental reasons. This is a place of peace for me and one of comfort. It reminds me of the fun I had with some unsavory characters on mind-energy "back in the day", as they say. None would be any the worse if psiencequest dissolved tomorrow. We would all find different ways to touch the various places in ourselves that logging on here provides.

You seem to think that this site "owes" you a place to exercise your voice. I can assure you, the universe owes you nothing.

Some may find me offensive, but I think your imagining the ‘childish insults’ bit.

It’s funny how all these people that have me blocked are interested in replying to my posts.

I do (very rarely) swear fiercely the admin people.

I think you’re quite wrong. It’s the little things that often mean the most.

Anyway, can anyone point me to the stairway I haven’t yet seen? The one that leads to the pulpit I’ve been preaching from seems to be far below that of others.  Big Grin
Oh my God, I hate all this.   Surprise

I for one would be sad if this forum dissolved. It's a wonderful resource.

Instead of editing your post, I will ask you, like I did David, to edit your post where you go on about covid, narrative, media, etc. etc. - again this should be clear that some of what you wrote down here belongs to the opt-in forums. If you choose not to, you are, once again, breaking the rules. You have the right to presume that the issues you care about are more important than this forum or the forum rules, you do not have the right to break them. At this point, it would be difficult to think you are not aware of them.

I had no personal interest in responding to you about the former, and it's clearly not appropriate in the regular forum.

"No surprise": again you are interpreting my motives. I noticed (once again) something else in your posts, that is of more relevance to the regular forum, and that does interest me. So I asked you about it.

Regarding your previous mentions of me refusing to talk to you on PM: yes, that is true. I no longer felt comfortable discussing with you. I find you abrasive and abusive, and I don't engage in a friendly way in real or in virtual life with people that switch from friendly to abusive and back. Like Chuck, I have for a while now lost the ability to have faith in your ability to read and understand correctly responses given to you without being clouded by emotions or interpretations of the other's motives, or whatever it is. I won't discuss this further, though, as it's not relevant to this thread, and I don't care to. I can predict you will assume again it's because I disagree with your views on certain matters, instead of the fact that is about the way you go about discussing them and relating to people on the forum, including myself.

Once again. Where in the opt in forums is there anywhere to reply or make a complaint about the moderation? The moderation problem as I see it involves the topics on the opt-in forums. How can I reply to Chuck where everyone in the forum, including those that don’t participate in the opt in forums, has a chance to see my side of the story!

This is becoming ridiculous.

You are enforcing rules like an automaton.
Oh my God, I hate all this.   Surprise
You can complain about the moderation, but not "explain your side of the story" if it comes to a subject matter that is reserved to the opt-in forum. Or, rather, you can do so there (in the opt-in forums).

I will ask you again to edit your post, therefore, or move the relevant part to the opt-in forums.

No, the moderation I’m complaining about requires a story to be told, and that story requires that it’s told to the whole forum, not only those members in the opt-out part.

What happened to transparency?

Can you give me a clue which bits you would need editing for it to be acceptable?

Sentences like these:

Quote:The mainstream narrative where Covid and vaccines are concerned have crumbled and are falling apart here in the UK. People have seen through their lies.

Quote:They didn’t deserve to be…

Censored.
Ridiculed.
Patronised.
Ignored.
When often they were by the mainstream media, and hardly any of you said anything against it.

You are mixing up making opinionated statements about a topic reserved for the opt-in forum with your complaints about your moderation in that forum.

If you are unable to make that kind of distinction, you should be using prudence and restraint in what you express on this side of the forum.

On the topic at hand, I don't see why the hidden forums pose such a problem. They're easy to ignore. Also, if they really are busier than the main forum, I think this is less a sign of their ability to monopolize conversation and more a sign that things are a little quiet at the moment. A problem, I might add, not limited to PsienceQuest.

Is it really unprecedented? Ours wouldn't be the first civilization to succumb to environmental stress and degradation. We live in an age of punishment and ruin.
