6 years, bloody hell. I wonder sometimes how debates like that would go nowdays, with new evidence that's come out slowly over time, especially with things like mediumship meta analysis ect. Though, I suppose nowdays most parapsychology researches don't give much of a damn anymore about the stuff that skeptics recyle.

God, watching the full thing makes me hurt inside. Skeptical people can admit that in parapsychology there is some interesting bits of data that deserve more study, even if it's to dismiss them, but what the 'against' put forward here wasn't even close to the best. Also, skeptical side really knows how to play their audience, cause I swear they always come off like smug pricks. It's like "Okay so here's the data we have and why we think it's true" vs "Well here's how things ACTUALLY are what you think is true cant be scientifically possible you wishful thinking gullible idiots." |
