For all you who require science to run your head...

A campaign has been launched by Thomas (Big Toe) Campbell (former NASA physicist) and a team of scientists who have developed quantum mechanics experiments that will prove that we live in a virtual reality. The experiments have been peer-reviewed, approved and published in the International Journal of Quantum Foundations.

Seems exciting. I wonder how this will impact our world.  Horror  The horror of it. Ten zillion zillion ETs were right.

Here it is: Kickstarter

YouTube has all of the double-slit like experiments...

I swear Tom must hug the line between madman and mad genius more then anybody else I've ever seen. I like his ideas, and he's definitely going for it. He and Radin are definitely doing some interesting things related to the double slit experiments in their own rights

I don't much care for The Big Toe or Campbell but you are 100% correct.
I tried reading The Big Toe but couldn't make it very far.

I think Tom might be one of those poor souls whose fan(atics) prevent others from really getting a bead on his ideas.

Likewise. I found it way too verbose.
I like Tom and his ideas; I started reading his book around the time I had my PK experience (I can't remember if it was before or after right enough), along with meeting someone that had a great impact on my personal life. An interesting synchronicity from my perspective!

However, I am not fond of the forum for MBT. One person in particular seemed to overreact to every and seemingly, any question that was asked. If you would compare the attitude of this member to the ideas that Tom conveys, there appears to be a big disconnect. And what made it worse, is that this member was/is a moderator/administrator, and basically to everyone else, it was obvious he was way too quick to shoot the gun and would piss off a lot of people unnecessarily. I used to frequent another forum with the same 'energy' as this person and the langauge/choice of syntax and attitude was very similar, so I knew to keep my distance as I got burned by them in a severe way.

Still, it is their forum and they can run it any way they want; but the way it is run with this particular person is incredibly off-putting, and I assume for anyone else too. Not a good way to 'spread the word' so to speak, in my opinion!

But to get back on point, Tom's kickstarter has managed to meet and exceed their minimum goal. So quite exciting to wait and see what information the experiments provide!
