In short, yes . The report was that at some point during the demonstration the bulb failed and the voices increased in volume at some point. If I recall correctly, no one knew it had failed until after the demonstration, so there would have been no reason for Leslie to adjust his volume (if he was faking the seance). I'd have to re-read it but I'm not sure there was any way to connect the time the bulb failed with the time the volume increased. I wouldn't say it was conclusive but I did think it was interesting.
