And when the IRS was looking to make redundancies, this recruit who's name is omitted, but began with the letter T, was amongst the first for 'axing'.

Central to the work request for the plumber was the latest in a long line of such objects that had steadily been sapping his energy and motivation for his job. It was a drain.
The police were called to the scene of a young man badly worn down over the years by psychological trauma. He was shot.
A carpenter with a reputation for violence using his tools invited his friend to join him in a heavy drinking session. The friend declined. He didn't want to get hammered.
