I think this is now the latest and best presentation by Nima on his work... I find it amazing I'm living through this revolution, which shows that Spacetime and QM both emerge from a single, more simple and primitive structure.

Great video. He explains very well why a unified theory of quantum field theory and general relativity is unlikely to happen. It will probably require some breakthrough physics to be discovered.
