Ordered a second hand copy of Austin Osman Spare's Book of Pleasure to find out more about his ideas on Sigil's, as it seems like it might have interesting ideas connected to patterns/coherence/interference.

Incidentally, if you're interested in such things, here's a great site featuring (mainly) translations from French of pieces dealing with Tarot, occultism and surrealism. Some of it is pretty higher grade stuff.

I didn't have any particular interest in traditional occult stuff, (but the history/use of the pentacle is interesting to me), I was just interested in AOS's use of letters to create a pattern... where upon he used some technique to move this into his subconsciousness... and where he thought it would have an effect... still a bit hazy on it.
