Closer to Truth: Neurophilosophy vs. Neuromania?

Quote:'Neurophilosophy' is the view that all that is mental or mind or consciousness can be solved ultimately by neuroscience. 'Neuromania' is the view that trying to explain consciousness by physical processes alone is impossible (if not ridiculous). The two views are diametrically opposed.

Appreciate the arguments of each. Then decide, which is correct?
^ How recent is that interview? I always like hearing Tallis weigh in on things, but the last time I went looking for recent interviews, I couldn't find anything less than a few years old (this search was itself over a year ago.)

Tallis might be worth contacting for an interview; AFAIK, he's never been especially interested in parapsychology, but one could see if he'd bite about an interview related more to consciousness and recent neuroscience.
