Interesting account of a near-death experience in a physician who survived cardiac arrest...
Marjorie Woollacott, Bettina Peyton.
I'll leave the paper up for a short while, then remove it. So download it whilst you can to read.

Thanks Max. Pretty fascinating read.
Interesting read. Bettina has a very eloquent, expressive way of describing her experience.
I posted this case myself a couple of years ago but it was not as well received without it's official (paper) wrapping. In fact hardly anybody paid any attention to it so well done Max for spotting it.
I would like to ask our sceptical members (particularly Malf) what they/he thinks about this and how it can be casually brushed aside or simply disregarded, along with all the rest of the hundreds of verified veridical cases ?
The IANDS youtube channel has published a video presentation by her about her NDE:
A former atheist and materialist, Dr. Bettina Peyton shares her transformational near-death experience and offers valuable insights.

Hi, Ian. I found her presentation to be overtly dramatised, sentimental, too emotional for my liking without trying to be disrespectful to her. She could have focussed more on the veridical nature of her NDE which is the only 'measurable' part which science would pay any attention to. Others will disagree (Stan probably will if he's in the mood
May I ask what you think or anyone else ?
