It's just that in the post, according to the normal conventions for quotations on this site, it looks as though I wrote your responses - about split-shifts, vibrations and ETs. So if the attributions could be corrected by somebody, I'd be grateful.

It was detected by a team of Japanese and French scientists using a technique called muography (I'm not making this up), and lies above the Grand Gallery. They hope to investigate it by drilling a very long hole and sending flying robots down it:

Here's a Daily Grail article reporting that further muographical measurements made in the past two years have confirmed the existence of the large void, estimated to be at least 40 metres long, though they're still not sure whether it's horizontal or sloping. They have also detected another, smaller tunnel near the entrance to the pyramid. The new findings are described in a short video. But sadly there is no news of the proposed flying-micro-robotic-blimps:

Courtesy of the Daily Grail - however, this report says that as some researchers in Egypt remain sceptical about the voids, the government has commissioned another Japanese research team to try to confirm the findings, again using muon radiography.

“The previously discovered cavity is way too large from an archaeological perspective,” said Sakuji Yoshimura, who heads the overall research project involving other universities. “We are very keen to verify the findings.”
