Courtesy of the SPR Facebook page, here's an article from Quanta Magazine on a new initiative to design experiments capable of discriminating between competing theories of consciousness. If it goes ahead, it will be funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation. It's hoped it will be the first of a series of "structured adversarial collaborations" in the area:
