Only kidding Typoz. I agree with you. Just making a point, hope you don't mind?

Well, I understand your question.

My answer is, I don't know whether it is simply a dreamworld. Nothing more. A lot of people in all sorts of ways go through life without being aware of any larger picture. Is that a conspiracy or simply the nature of this reality?

I spent some time heavily involved in photography. In doing that, one starts to look at things. One looks at photographs and considers various things such as the direction and quality of the light, the shapes, the tones of light and dark, the colours, the composition ... and so on. This overflows into ordinary life too, so that one looks at ordinary scenes, whether it is a dirty plate waiting to be washed, or people going about their day-to-day activities. One starts to consider the lighting, the composition and so on of everything that one sees. For people who pass through life unaware of the possibilities in everything before their eyes, I don't consider there is a conspiracy which causes them to be that way.

On the other hand, if you think there is more to it and there is a conspiracy behind it, then by all means pursue that path.

I was just trying to highlight the fact that there is bound to be a grey area between the PSI holy water and the muddy polluted water that is to be found in the hidden forums. I had a post moved there earlier that I felt was the type of thing that should be encouraged in the forum.

I'm feeling frustrated. Forgive me.
Oh my God, I hate all this.   Surprise

No problem. I'm not actively influencing the direction of the forums at present, though I think you and I may have differed on matters of forum organisation in the past. Right now, for better or for worse, I'm just 'putting up with' things, even though I don't necessarily agree (nor disagree)  with various decisions which are made. I can certainly understand if you feel frustrated by things.

What was it, Stan ?

It was the interview that Russell Brand gave to a British ex-diplomat turned anarchist. I found it really interesting and really found the idea quite enlightening, even spiritual, not what I expected at all.

But as it is technically 'politics', into the rubbish it goes.

Not sure I can agree there. TV is about promoting a worldview, trying to represent a particular dreamworld which it wants people to sleepwalk inside.

That's why I hardly watch much TV at all - in its entirety it is marketing something which seems pretty alien to me. The aim of TV producers is to hold people trapped within that dream.

Wait. You really believe that's what TV producers want?

Do all the producers get together and decide what the dream is? If they disagree, which producer decides what the world view is? Do they take turns deciding?

If I though there was a conspiracy, then that might be what I thought.

But since I already explained that I don't consider it a conspiracy, then no.

OK. Lets forget about the conspiracy.

Do you hold that producers are doing this on their own then? That somewhat they all thought this idea up independently? Seems to me that is even harder to believe.

I'm just trying understand what you are saying exactly.

Okay, Stan got it.

Politics/economics interests me but it causes big problems on forums (IMHO). A lot of people don't properly understand the arguments and what choices are really available to us (don't mean you). Jonathon Ross's mate (I believe) is one of them.

There is no socialist republic heaven on earth waiting to be discovered (I'm not suggesting you think there is but Brand does). Capitalism simply needs to be properly harnessed for all but definitely not dismantled. If you do that, you kill the goose. There will still be a few golden eggs but only the elite of the new socialist heaven on earth will ever see them. Brand will make sure he's one of them.  Just my thoughts, I'll delete them as soon as you give me a kick in the groin Wink I'll delete them anyway.

Well, this isn't about Brand, he's interviewing the interesting guy. Have you watched the vid?
