Just warning members that we moderators have evidence to believe that the account "Mac" is an account impersonating a member of other forums. We have temp-banned this account for two days whilst we investigate. We encourage members not to interact with this account's posts because in the likely event that we confirm that it is an impersonating account, all of its posts will be deleted (we have evidence to believe that some of these posts are plagiarised anyway).

Bloody hell !   One of Mac's first posts was to accuse somebody else of exactly the same thing

We are discovering that some folk have very unusual hobbies.

We confirmed that the account was an impersonation by having the genuine Mac edit into a post on a forum on which he is a regular (since 2011) the message "The 'Mac' on Psience Quest is not me". Can provide a screenshot to anybody who wants one (he edited the message out once I'd taken that screenshot).

And so... the Mac account on this forum has been deleted along with all its posts.
